Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors should submit only papers that have been carefully proofread and polished. Manuscripts are accepted with the understanding that they are original or extended version of previously published papers in conferences and/or journals and that, if the work received an official sponsorship, it has been duly released for open publication. Before submission please make sure that your paper is prepared using the MASSIVE: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi manuscript template. The authors must refer to MASSIVE: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi manuscript template (please download and use as template for initial manuscript submission). This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guideline to authors will not be processed.

The minimum standard requirements of MASSIVE: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi must be

  1. Written in Indonesia or English.
  2. Article similirity <20%.
  3. The manuscript is typed using Microsoft Word program on A4 paper, around 10 - 15 pages in Times New Roman size 11 pts and 1.5 space excluding abstract, and references.
  4. Recommended to use of a tool such as Mendeley for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style.
  5. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the MASSIVE: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi manuscript template.

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of paper is max 15 words, without Acronym or abbreviation.
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has maksimum 150-250 WORDS; No citation; Abstract contains background research problems, the purpose of research, the method of research, the result of research, and the conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction - Method - Results and Discussion - Conclusion.
  4. References. Expect a minimum of 10 references primarily with minimum 80% from textbooks/e-books and journals and 20% from the secondary data (thesis, and other relevant publications).
